Use the cvs log command without any options to examine all the log information for a file,

$ cvs log driver.c

The header lines show the global information for the file, such as the keyword substitution mode and tags. These are followed by the commit log entries, showing the version number, date, author, and state for each revision. The lines field is the number of lines added or deleted in the commit (a changed line counts as both an addition and deletion).
