16.4 File Permission issues specific to Windows

Some file permission issues are specific to Windows operating systems. If you are using local CVS on Windows and the repository is on a networked file system which is served by a Samba SMB server, some people have reported problems with permissions that can be worked around by setting delete readonly = Yes in the Samba configuration. The alternative is to use :pserver: or :ext: with SSH as an access method.
